Ingredients

Servings:
Makes: 1

1  onion
2  garlic cloves
½  small , (or Romaine lettuce)
1  red chilli pepper
2  eggs
2  vegetable oil
200 grams cooked rice, (from the day before)
2  soy sauce
  salt
  pepper
  peanuts, to garnish
  lime, to garnish

Instructions

STEP 1/5

Peel the onions and garlic, deseed the chilli pepper and finely chop together with Braun’s MultiQuick 9 Chopper 350ml attachment in Pulse mode.

STEP 2/5

Halve the cabbage, cut off the dry part from the stalk and chop with the XL food processor 2.0 l attachment using the coarse shredding insert.

STEP 3/5

Heat up the oil in a large non-stick pan and sauté the onion mixture. Add the cabbage and fry until wilted.

STEP 4/5

Now push the fried ingredients to the edge of the pan and crack in the eggs. Stir fry until the eggs are well scrambled. Then add the rice, mix everything together and continue frying. It is important not to over stir the rice, otherwise it will not become crispy.

STEP 5/5

When the rice is crispy, season with soy sauce and, if necessary, salt and pepper. Place the rice on a plate, drizzle with a squeeze of lime juice and serve with a sprinkling of peanuts.

Tip: Add chopped ginger, shrimps or chicken into the mix.
This recipe was prepared using Braun’s MultiQuick 9 (MQ 9187XLI).
A 350ml chopper attachment is not necessarily needed but you can simply use the 500ml chopper attachment.
Prepare the recipe also with one of our other models, such as Braun’s MultiQuick 7 (MQ 7085X).
