Ingredients

Makes:

3  peppers, coloured
2 cloves garlic
1  onion
200 grams turkey breast, or tofu, cut into strips
200 ml vegetable stock
100 grams crème fraîche, or soya cream
50 grams ajvar, or spicy paprika paste/ fresh chili)
2 tbsp. parsley, chopped, optional
3 tbsp. olive oil
  paprika, mild and sweet
  salt


Instructions

STEP 1/6

Wash the peppers, quarter them, remove the seeds and slice horizontally with Braun’s MultiQuick 9 food processor attachment using the fine slicing insert.

STEP 2/6

Peel the onion and garlic and chop finely in the 350ml chopper attachment in Pulse mode.

STEP 3/6

Season the turkey strips with salt and mild paprika powder, fry in a pan with olive oil until golden brown, remove the meat from the pan and set aside.

STEP 4/6

Sauté the peppers, onion and garlic in the pan, deglaze with vegetable stock, stir in the crème fraîche and ajvar and let everything simmer for 3-5 minutes.

STEP 5/6

Return the meat to the pan with the vegetables and season everything again with salt, sweet paprika and ajvar to taste.

STEP 6/6

Tip: Serve with rice from the previous day or simply stuff the pepper meat into a flatbread.
This recipe was prepared using Braun’s MultiQuick 9 (MQ 9175XL). Prepare the recipe also with one of our other models. A 350ml chopper attachment is not necessarily needed but you can simply use the food processor attachment with the chopping tool or the 500ml chopper attachment instead.
