Ingredients

Makes:

400.0 grams minced lamb
1.0 tbsp. cayenne pepper
2.0 tbsp. cumin seeds
2.0 tbsp. coriander seeds
1.0 clove garlic, crushed
1.0 juice of lemon
1.0  egg, lightly beaten
10.0  mint leaves, chopped
  seasoning
250.0 ml natural yoghurt
1.0 bunch mint
1.0 juice of lemon
  seasoning
200.0 grams feta cheese, diced
8.0  cherry tomatoes, quartered
1.0  cucumber, peeled and diced
1.0  red onion, peeled and diced
20.0  black olives, stoned
1.0  green pepper, deseeded and diced
100.0 ml olive oil
1.0 tbsp. sherry vinegar
 pinch of oregano
  seasoning
50.0 grams almonds, ground
350.0 grams fresh strawberries
400.0 ml crème fraîche
2.0 tbsp. goji berries, for topping
2.0 tbsp. almonds, flaked, for topping


Instructions

STEP 1/10

Heat a heavy-based pan over a low heat.

STEP 2/10

Add the cumin and coriander seeds to the pan, then toast for 30 until fragrant.

STEP 3/10

Crush using a pestle and mortar or grind in Braun’s MQ 60 coffee and spice grinder accessory. Set aside.

STEP 4/10

Mix the lamb well with the ground almonds, garlic, lemon juice, crushed spices, egg and the mint leaves. Season well.

STEP 5/10

Then shape into 18 balls. Chill for 30 minutes in the fridge.

STEP 6/10

Heat the olive oil in a frying pan. Fry the meatballs for 6-7 minutes, turning now and then, until golden brown and cooked. Set aside.

STEP 7/10

For the dressing, place all the ingredients in Braun’s MultiQuick 9087X Hand blender food processor accessory (1,5l) and blend to a smooth puree. Season to taste

STEP 8/10

For the Greek salad, combine all the ingredients in a large bowl and season to taste. Place the Greek salad in a take away container with meatballs and minted yoghurt dressing.

STEP 9/10

For the strawberry crème fraiche, place the fresh strawberries and crème fraiche in Braun’s MultiQuick 9087X Hand blender food processor accessory (1,5l) and blend to a puree.

STEP 10/10

Place in a take away container and sprinkle with goji berries and flaked almonds.
