Ingredients

1.0 tbsp. olive oil
1.0  onion
1.0 stalk of celery
1.0 clove garlic
1.0 tsp. thyme, or parsley, freshly chopped
900.0 grams canned tomatoes, peeled with juice
600.0 ml vegetable stock
  salt
  pepper


Instructions

STEP 1/5

Warm the oil in the pan on a medium heat, add the onion and celery and fry them.

STEP 2/5

Attach the blending shaft to Braun’s Multiquick 5V Fit hand blender and blend the soup.

STEP 3/5

Add the garlic and thyme (or parsley) and fry for another 1-2 minutes.

STEP 4/5

Season with salt and pepper.

STEP 5/5

Add the tomatoes and stock and bring to a boil at a higher heat, cooking for a further 10 minutes, before reducing the heat.
